Kindness: Ripple Effect

Few years ago, I suddenly had a notion, “how can I change the world around me?” But then I became reluctant, I thought it was the craziest idea and I am insignificant. I am only a tiny piece in this planet, not even a nano or a pico, but a yocto (yocto is the smallest SI unit in the metric system). Even if I do good deeds sincerely, it would not make any much difference at all. However, I had an epiphany, the only way I can change the world, I have to start from within. I need to improve myself constantly.

“If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. We need not wait to see what others do. If you want to change the world, start with yourself.” ~ Mohandas Gandhi

No matter how simple or small, the kindness you do today, can make a massive impact to everyone around you. Even if we are surrounded by all the negativity in this world; hatred, prejudices, crimes, etc. Be brave! Be the great leader who make that first move to cause a ripple effect revolution. You will never know that even the simplest kind gesture you did to someone, can possibly make an astounding effect to brighten their day. I believe, kindness is contagious. When we are kind to everyone around us, we inspire others to do the same. Kindness makes the world a better place to live. Kindness is the most powerful light that can eliminate the darkness in this world.

  1. Kindness is very contagious! Yes, change starts within. We can’t even attempt to change the world, if we don’t know how to change our own thinking. We just have to cast the first pebble, and let God’s love; make the bigger impact. Kindness has a ripple, but the effect; is what it truly had on both hearts, that felt the difference it made within! Blessings!

    1. Thanks very much. You are the light in this world. Your kindness and your wisdom is very contagious. Certainly, genuine changes must start from within; mentality, habits and actions. God must be the centre of our lives always. Yes, indeed! God’s love makes the bigger impact. May God send many blessings to you. 😊

  2. Not only will it have a ripple effect but it is being obedient to the Holy Spirit. God wants us to demonstrate this to the dark world and by doing so we show God’s love and kindness that He first showed us. Thanks for stopping by and liking my blog today on this subject. “How Kind Are We?”
